Relax will ya.....
WTF is with people this time of year? Watch the news. What is it? Time to go beserk? People wonder why I become a hermit for a week and wont go out
for the last week of the year. It is just shameful. I am 35 years old and NEVER been in a fight.
You know what? I am tougher and stronger than any of the idiots that start fights will ever be. It is in the mind and the heart. Muscles are just
brawn with no brains. As for weapons! Pffffft! They lower you down to levels that no living being deserves to be included within. Just dirt.
Think, Think, Think. Then enjoy real human spirit and emotion. Family, fun, cars! Whatever! Just relax a bit.

LOL. Only the toughest would be able to punch me in the face while holding my 2 y old son. That would take a real man for sure. Guts to boot. All the
while I will just smile and ask how big they feel? I would go home later and have a beer, smile again and see how weak they are for being so short
fused and narrow minded.

But u know Helbus,
For every bad act I have seen recently, I have seen more good. And it always enlightens my soul.
I watch a lady help pay for an elderly persons shopping, and then another person offered to drive her home due to the heat. Two of her kids even
helped her get her shopping to the car.
I watched a man give a teddy to a lady whose child wanted it. It didnt seem the child was being selfish, or the lady either, just she had been
working shift and didnt make it to the shops as her first pay didnt kick in till the day before. And at that point it was all the child had wanted,
and it seemed probably all she could afford.
Our work ... well... we had a candidate whom we hope to have working early next year, but this xmas it wasnt looking great for her. She has just
moved here in the last week. The place she was to rent fell thru, and she basically had nothing for her n the kids. We organised a hamper or
usefull things...nappies, wipes, toys, and food...and milk. Since she couldnt afford milk at all. It cost each of us maybe $10.00, but meant the
world to the lady n her kids. Its a time to give back hope.
So, in amongst the horror of xmas comes some incredibly wonderful moments. Just look for them n keep them in mind.
Hope u n ur family are otherwise enjoying ur holiday season.
cheers
beb

Don't worry beb, I always look for the good, and contribute where I can. I can't keep up with the current fashions, but I know I am lucky to have
hot water and milk.
A lady put $20 in petrol in her car and her card was rejected and she had no cash. I just dropped the $20 on the counter, said don't worry about it.
I'm not made of money, but she was really in distress. She asked my address and said she would return the money. A week later I had a $20 note in an
envelope under the door with a very heartfelt message of thanks.
I couldn't have bought that feeling of happiness with $20 anywhere.

So Petey... Wanna job in Retail???/
The silly season is the busiest time of year for us. Kinda fun watching "everyday normal folks" turn into some crazed bargain hunting, overzealous,
impatient, short fused feral from Doveton who failed to cash their centerlink cheque before the banks closed cos of public holidays.
Us Retail folk are humble though.....we can take on almost anything life throws at us and deal with it with casual abandon. We are the only industry trained to deal with the toughest challenge
of them all that has dogged man for centuries............

I had my 3 kids in the car a couple of weeks ago and we were at a major shopping centre. Unfortunately.
I saw two women absolutely going at each other in the car park - all over a car spot. My kids noses were pressed up against the windows, their kids
in their cars were all screaming and crying - for what?!? I couldn't believe it. Completely put a downer on the day for me (and other people who
were watching).

The christmas spirit died for me when I entered the Retail industry 16 years ago.
Nowdays, faced with what you witnessed, I'd pull up a chair and chant "JERRY.....JERRY.....JERRY.....JERRY....:
