I cant answer your question sorry, but a mate of mine (panel beater/spray painter) mentioned seeing these displayed a couple of years ago and was very
impressed. I just spent about an hour reading and watching their site and I would love to have one, as it would do a lot of jobs for a lot less cost.
Wonder how much they are?

I have one. They are about $700 for the kit. I got mine second hand. Acquired because someone moved overseas.
I do vehicle restoration and panel fabrication as a job. I only do aluminium and steel panel work, no fillerwork. All day every day just making
panels, oxy welding and so forth. I use a standard style CIG oxy torch.
I have a Henrob/ DHC at home, and I use it quite often.
I feel I can give a professional review of both types, but to be honest it is more involved than just a few lines of writing. In my opinion, the DMC
may make your welding easier to learn if you have never welded before. You need skill, patience and experience to do it right. It is not a 'miracle'
welder.

on a tangent is there a cheap way to hire oxy bottles? My mig cost me about 170 pa in rental+gas and I guess you would be looking at similar cost per
bottle for oxy, can you get handyman disposable units like you can with argon? alternativly can you lead load with a mapgas bottle?

I've had one for years.Got it when it was a dillon.
Easy to learn to use if you're not a welder, but a bit different to a conventional torch.
