VW Factory in 1949

My dad found this in a book he has. Sadly most of these will be dead by now.

they wouldn't be rare if all these were shipped to Australia

instead of European Countries where salt is added to the roads for the ice in winter...

I am interested in the old books. I have one from 53 where they let a young art photographer into the factory and there is a whole book of great photos.
It is packed away so I dont know what it is called at the mo. i do know it it volume 2 and I have been looking for vol 1 for years now.
