Where to buy parts?

Hey everyone

I'm new to vws and to this forum, and i'm currently rebuilding my first engine. I was wondering if anybody could recommend where to buy parts, either locally, in the Brisbane/Gold Coast area, or order them from insterstate or overseas.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had good dealings with Classic Vee Dub in Sydney. George has a good range of parts and postage is very reasonable to Qld. Also Vintage Vee Dub in Sydney are really good too.

Postage will kill you when ordering from overseas, even if the prices seem better. But there is Wolfsberg West and CIP or Mid America Motorworks in the US. Plenty of choices.:tu:

At the moment 2 beetles, a '68 semi auto and a mid 60ish on a 76 pan. I'm trying to find out which places are best on price and service.
