Which compressor?
I am looking at getting a compressor to use at home which needs to be able to run spray guns, DA's, air files, belt sander, drills etc etc.
I have basically been looking into what the biggest single phase compressor is that I can buy. For about $1K I have found a couple of options:
Puma 20K - 3.3hp, 380 ltr/min FAD, 75 ltr receiver
Airmac T20 - 3.2hp, 305 ltr/min FAD, 100 ltr receiver
My question is whether a smaller receiver but higher FAD would be better for me or if the bigger receiver and lesser FAD would be a better option???
Any feedback would be most appreciated.....
Also, for about $1K, are there any better options out there??? Could maybe go a bit higher is something is particularly well recommended.
Cheers, Ian

for spraying and all other things you can think of in the shed a 13 cubic foot compressor will do the job nice..
anything smaller wont keep up the air for spraying.. so a spray painter told me eons ago
i got a 13 sq' and bingo works fine as..

13cfm may be alright for limited spraying, jobs but wont keep up with workshop air tools, ie rattle gun, sanders, etc

Bit confused - are you guys talking about pump displacement cfm or Free Air Delivery cfm? Cant find any single phase compressors with above around
12cfm FAD.
