More VW spottings. - SA
Saw a few sweet VW's this weekend.
Firstly i saw a slammed kombi down at westlakes had P plates.
This morning i saw a teal VW driving past the West end brewery.
Then i saw a very sexy baby blue beetle at the corner of glen osmond Rd and greenhill Rd, Sounded like a beast 
And in the hills this afternoon i saw a late 70's green beetle.
That is all i have to report i need a rapidly accessible camera to grab
shots of these cars as i see them

Saw a blue Manx with rego manx something (go figure) on Unley Rd tonight. I think it's the 1st one I actually seen on the road!

This morning on Magill Road, a sweet two-tone '60s Beetle with rego RGJ or something. Nice to see it in peak hour traffic when most cars are very
bland.

I saw another early 60's beetle coming up Salisbury highway monday morning at about 7:15am.
I saw a metalic purple late beetle sitting in the tea tree plaza shopping center. (Mon 4:00pmish)
I also saw a green one in the golden grove area. (Mon 3:45ish)

Yup that's it. Saw it again today, turning onto Magill road. I was in the Uni car - eek a Falcon wagon (so huge after the Golf!).
Also today, a blue fastback parked outside the zoo (I think), a '60s Beetle parked in town (forgotten exactly where), and a late model ('73 on),
possibly 1300, yellow bug on Unley Road tonight.

Ha saw another one tonight, coming down south road inbetween henly beach road and sir donald bradman drive at about 7-8pm ish.
Had tail lights of an early beetle but the flared rear guards and the rear valance appeared to be all one unit, looked pretty tough, and didnt sound
to bad either, was black nice ride. (was almost manxish)

Again a few more, i saw a comb/synchro candy apple green on Friday at about 2:30 driving down the semaphore area..
At about 4:00 i saw a stock 70's beetle red driving down port road heading towards the city.
At about 10:30pm i saw a convertible red beetle (couldn't quite focus on it at this time to see what model :P).

Saw a Pink early '70s bug parked outside the zoo last night about 8pm. I suspect it's owner was in town for the Fringe opening, as it was very busy
around the city last night.

Saw a blue kombi with a white roof this morning around 11am at tea tree gully, then saw a white beetle going liek the hammers of hell down kings rd
towards Tea tree gully at 11ish also

Some nice splitties at the Watermark hotel at the Bay opposite the Porsche display.
Especially the reddish Samba.Oh,and the beautiful red n white one.Nice to meet ya.And the Grey n white one.And the Blue n white one with a radiator on
the front bumper WTF???
I dumped the Porsche show to perve on the Splits real quick!

Orange Beetle up Salisbury way this morning (Sat 22nd)
Matt black Beetle with red wheels up Salisbury Wat (Sat 22nd)
Nice baby blue one up at Freeling would of been about 6ish on the morgan hwy i think its called gave you a flash.

I spot plenty of newer VWs, esp MK5 golfs, esp MK5 GTIs. But they don't really count arount here do they. Saw a few Beetles around lately but can't remember the details. They weren't totally beat up. I love how if
I think I hear one I automaticaly crane my head around to see. And my eye is so trained now that I can almost spot one out of the corner of my eye
while driving. With modern VW you don't need to keep a look out as they're everywhere (like Beetles once were?).
