What did you learn to drive in?

Living in the Lord Manor you might be lucky enough to learn to drive in a crash box splitty...!

I learnt in a bone stock '63 beetle but my first car was a 2180cc '69 beetle...

8 years old in my Dad's 78 Honda Civic. Car he still owns and has had since new. Drove from Carbrook to Redland Bay and back again on dirt roads.

First time I drove on the road with a learners permit was in a toyota coaster bus.

I bought a Honda Life which i never got registered, then bought my grandparents 78 Civic which I still have then bought my Kombi which i still own as well.

Drove the van last night for first time in a few weeks. the smells, noises and performance..... something the Hilux lacks LOL

That's funny you should say that about the smell of a car my oval has a nice car smell to it. I get my jumper or blankets out of my oval and they smell like car I love that smell. Unlike the Hilux:lol::lol:

Had a heap of lessons in the instructor's 121 bubble car :td:. Also tooled around whilst on my Ls and Ps in my mum's very beat up Datsun 180B wagon. Despite having oil in the water, water in the oil, bald tyres, needing new plugs every month or so and not having seen the inside of a workshop in far too long, it just would not die.

Soon after I got my Ps I got my '72 bug and really started to learn to drive. From there to my current golf.
