Hi

I've had them in my bug for years, in conjunction with front flippers windows they do a good job of getting air through the car without messing your do.

VVDS has post 1968 ones 4 sale I think, early one are rare.

Got some early beetle popout windows fro the states recently. Going to fit them in the next few weeks (thanks BugBoy).
I like them, never had them in an early beetle so dont know what the improvements will be. What I doknow is that the early (pre 64 or so) are getting pretty exy. The later ones are a lot cheaper. Pick them up on ebay for probably under $100.
Only had one Oval with a rag top, a 55. (that was drivable on the road) It was pretty kool. Fogged the windows up pretty bad if you opened it on a cool morning tho. ;)

Popouts for pre 67 Beetles are different to the post 68 ones, and pre 67 are hard to find and cost more.
