Brisbane - Chromers

Any recommendations on where to get good quality Chrome work done in Brisbane?
Would consider interstate if there are no good ones in Brissy.

I had the original bumpers and hubcaps on the Kombi re-chromed ~6-7 years ago, and they are now both peeling.
Not quite what I was hoping for.

Also, any ideas on cost?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know anyone in Qld ,but Coffs Chrome in Coff's Harbour have done a good work at a reasonable cost for me in the past.

Cheers grumble!
I will point out my bumpers were chromed straight on steel.
Next time I prefer to find someone who does it in a two part process, I think they copper plate first?? then chrome afterwards for a beter job.

To the best of my knowledge these guys do the copper plate first,if not i have also used Hamilton Chrome and I am sure these guys do as they recently did my Ghia bumpers.. I only suggested Coffs because they were closer to you. Cheers Les

NOT GOOD...
for what they charge... it should last forever...
its very expensive, in My books, but locals have used Hamilton chrome near Newcastle for many years...

copper is very expensive these days... and chroming has always been expensive... but if you want it done, You want it done right the first time...

cheers

Are you still looking for a good chromer in brisbane.

I can Recomend Cook and Sons 1150 Southpine Rd Arana Hills. They re-chromed a number of parts for a bike I am restoring. They were not cheap but the finnish was excelent. And yes they copper plate first.

Cheers
