Fuel injection wiring diagram

All because a simple cable tie didn't do its job the fan belt grabbed some wires and basically ripped them to shreds. That was about 2 hours ago and now I've got stuck into it and started to clear up the mess I find I'm now missing complete wires and even a sensor plug. Could those in the know please post the link to the diagram I need . Cheers...I've just searched both Vintage bus and the Samba but neither has the fuel injection diagrams I need and all the workshop manuals I have are now so old that a lot of the diagrams are history and of course the FI ones dissappeared long ago.

'79 cabriolet 1600, bears an uncanny likeness to the one in my avatar. Engine completely standard.

Ancient,
Super or Standard? I have an Orange Bentley which covers up to '79 with FI thrown in, and could either look up what you need to know or choke your inbox later with some scans of the diags.

Super. I know one of my manuals had the fuel injection diagram but the covers dissappeared years ago and they're gradually getting thinner day by day and the wiring diagrams being near to the back were probably the first to vanish. If you could scan all the FI diagrams you could e-mail them to me at barryboy@hotmail.com

Cheers

Ancient,
Tried scanning and it's coming out illegible. I can photocopy and send snail mail? They are black and white anyway so photocopies would be better than the POS at home...

sorry 'bout that

Bit of a laugh, I've recently had to pull the engine out and completely rebuild it and have just one wire that I have to find a spot for, anyway doing a search re- wiring diagrams and came across this thread and read my first post and remembered that when I pulled the engine out I found that missing plug sitting buried down the back of the fan housing. Now to work out where this damn wire goes.:(

No it comes from the firewall into the engine bay, either a power to the ecu or for the double relay methinks?

No I saw those , in fact the FI wiring diagram has been printed and laminated! I've sorted the wire out now though, thanks.
