[FS - NSW] Classic look 75 Bay Kombi SOLD******

Norah is up for sale. She is a 1975 microbus originally 8 seater.

Bus has been in family for 13 years with history beyond this. Was originally a western vehicle.Had a restoration to a quality everyday driver in 2006.

Young baby, no time to give love required and purchase of new family wagon means she has to go. Bus was meant to be the “keeper” and will probably regret the sale.

The Good.
• Resprayed in 2 pac 2006 lintgruen vw colour with white roof and bumpers.
• Complete new interior light cream/brown, custom removable carpets, new full headlining & window surrounds
• All new rubber seals windows, doors
• Mechanical overhaul at stokers siding garage (maintained by Alan) including new master cylinder, steering box, centre pin, electrics, brakes
• Lowered via Indian adjustable beam, resplined rear, new shocks allround, adjustable bump stops
• New sliding windows (reversed for rear passengers). Solid rear glass both sides.
• Empi quick shift
• Modified and complianced new bucket seats with lumbar support, tilt etc
• Motor is a bulletproof twin plugged pobjoy built 2L (Cost 8K) installed by Stan. Runs dual ignition system (no more changing points). Awesome torque (pulls away at idle in 3rd) and great for towing. Balanced, new unleaded heads, Hardened billet cam by Ivan Tighe, Twin Kadrons, New alternator, clutch & exhaust. Ran 12.7 over 1/8th mile (and wasn’t quite getting full throttle at the time) at warwick 07. Full receipt available. Motor done only 33000km.

The Bad.
• Return of cancer spots. Bubbles of rust reappeared (damn it!) in usual spots like front step outer skin and some in bottom sills. Underside of bus is original and solid (no black goop to hide the nasty bits). Bus resides 200m from the beach. Nothing too bad but will require some love in the future. Currently don’t have the time to redo. (see photos of spots).
• No heaters. Who needs em north of Byron?

This bus goes, stops, turns like it should and has been everyday driver for past 3 years. Little use over past 3 months. Inspection invited. Price reflects reduction due to “the bad”. RWC arranged on sale. Has QLD rego but resides just south of border in Pottsville (Half way between Byron and border)

$15,800 ONO
