I have one on my L bug which has done 160KPH (down a long, steep hill), and it never moved. I reckon it is great - no dirty or fogged up rear window, no sun damage to the back seat area, and It doesn't make much difference to visibility (at least on a large windowed L bug). It has some slight damage from long pieces of timber on the racks of my trailer (I am a builder), that is why I was wondering what size/year model they suite.

If it is not a hassle, drop them in anyway, one may fit my 69 project (NB: very, very, long term project).
