I'M NEW TO AUSSIEVEEDUBBERS
I'M NEW TO AUSSIEVEEDUBBERS.
I PICK UP MY DRIVEABLE 69 LOW LIGHT KOMBI TOMORROW 27/2/09.
I'M PRETTY OLD & DAD DROVE SPLITS WHEN THEY WERE NEW AND WORKED FOR VW.
I KNOW MY OVAL AND EARLY BEETLES FAIRLY WELL BUT RELEARNING THE T2 LATEST TRENDS.
I THINK THE 68 AND 69 KOMBI BAYS ARE THE TOP OF EARLY TRANSPORTER EVOLUTION. I HAVE SPLITS BUT I LIKE THESE MORE BECAUSE OF THIER RARITY.
HELP WITH PARTS AND IDEAS APPRECIATED SO I DON'T RESELL AND ADD YET ANOTHER BUG TO MY COLLECTION. |

Feel the love already !!
Most people on here are nice, honestly. (even trickysimon)
It's just that when you use all capitals it feels like you're yelling.
Look forward to seeing photos of your new ride.

Very cool (the 68-69 brigade a personal favourite of mine)
Look forward to seeing the pics.

listed the lowlight on ebay - should i sell?
i listed the lowlight on ebay and copped a lot of crap emails from people because i am selling it for a profit so soon.
is this the mood in the vw community now, that you cannot buy something and resell it at a profit.? maybe i'll keep it and not upset anybody.
didn't recieve any flak when i sold my 2000 dollar oval for 8 grand last year. he was happy and i was happy.

I find it weird that you post about your lowlight then sell it right away ?
Some ppl mite know what you payed for it,
They may just find it rude or unfair that your selling it for so much more.
