and boot lid. 1973 beetle, location Nambour Sunshine coast. "

Yes
1303S or L bugs rear guards have very large holes in them for the large 1303S tail lamps...
so, its very difficult to fit any other tail lights...
but seeing they are a good price...
not $200 each... lol like others...
