Pop-top fitting

Hi guys,

I recently bought a kombi which I love heeeeaps, and now want to fit a poptop on it. I also found a good second hand one, although unfortunately without a frame (so it probably doesn't make sense to buy it at all).
Was wondering if anybody knows where to get a frame or a complete poptop from, ideally close to Sydney or on the way up to QLD?
Also, I'm looking for someone who can fit it, which seems to be a major challenge ;) I could do some work myself, but don't want to cut into the roof myself.

I'd be really happy if anyone can give me some tipps!

Cheers
Jenny

Jenny,

It would be really helpful if people know where you are located.

(when you are logged in ) At the top right hand side of any page you will see the words "User CP". Click on that and you will be able to add more information about yourself.

Regards,

Matt.

I'm in Syndey now, but will be on my way up to QLD from next week on, so it would be helpful to find a place up there as well (although I wouldn't take the top up to QLD, so would need another one)

Cheers

Heya rocknrob ;)
Yay that's awesome! Mine is a 76 so it should fit :) How is the canvas, is it still good?
I'll be up at the gold coast in about 2 or 3 weeks. Will you be around then? ;)

Cheers

Hi rocknrob,

I just called up Jamie at kustom kombi, he does the fitting and has a spare poptop available, which is very convenient for me ;) I might call you up anyway in case Jamies poptop is not in the condition I want... altough I think it will be.
Thanks for offering anyway :) I'm sure you won't have trouble finding someone who wants it, they are pretty rare nowadays...

Cheers
