Car problems have to happen in 3's
The starter motor was sticking in the bus on Wed as noted by the wife, so I investigated and it appeared to be a sticking solenoid. Not bad for a
Bosch unit that we have had for 13 years, and have no earlier history of.
I took it out, and while under the bus I noticed a weeping leak from the radiator core where the shroud was rubbing. I took it out, and when I decided
it was a good time to adjust the thermo fan to stop it buzzing on the core strap, it snapped the hold down lugs.
OK so today I have had the solenoid replaced on the starter, The radiator repaired, and bought new thermo. 1 2 3. That is enough.
Next on the list is the heater before the wife and two babies freeze. Remember the 75 bus is our only family car, nothing else. I know it is a bit
modern but we live with it.
