Thanks guys
After making a few phone calls this morning i found that i was going to have to go further afield!
Ended up ordering from Classic Vee Dubs in Sydney.
Sorted!
Just out of curiosity, how long ago would it have been that you would have been able to get them "off the shelf" in most car accessory shops here in
Australia?
We've only been living in Australia for about 15 months, so are just getting used to things we can and can't get 'off the shelf' if you get me. I
owned a Beetle in the UK in the early 90's and could get basic stuff like brake shoes from pretty much any car accessory store, so was just wondering
if it would have been the same over here at that time?
Thanks again for your help, and sorry for the mundane questions....got a feeling there might be a lot of them in the near future as we get used to the
whole "owning a Beetle" experience again! (we've missed it soooo much though!! didn't realise how much until we got in one again after so many
years!)
