[FS - VIC] 71 superbug for sale
I recently restored at 71 superbug from the ground up, only to have someone crash into it. It was deemed a repairable write-off but I have neither the
time nor money to repair the damage. Damage is only to front drivers side, apparently just needs a new shell and suspension. Or can be stripped of
parts, engine, wheels etc to rebuild another beetle.
Work done was:
All rust cut out, complete twopack respray. Black with harlequin finish.
Complete recondition of 1600 engine including new bosch regulator. (has done approx 3000km since rebuild)
new bumpers and guards. Motorcycle side mirrors.
Has good brakes.
4 reasonably new tyres, (the big fat ones)
Big aluminium rims which need polishing to remove minor scratches and chips.
total cost was approx $6500 or thereabouts
I have all the receipts from work and my panel beater is happy to talk to potential buyers as well.
I have photos of car before and after accident and buyers are welcome to visit the car for a look. Obviously I won't make any where near the money I
spent on it back but Id be happy to see it go to someone who will use it well.
