WTB door hinge backing plates (brisbane)
I've been going through all the stuff for my 59 beetle and have found the top door hinge backing plates that the screws go into are missing on both
sides.
If anyone has a set of these they would like to sell please let me know
my email is vwvic@hotmail.com or PM me
thanks

are they the same as later ones? im assuming its the U shaped plate with threads tapped through them? i have a few made up from 5mm plate because i
didnt trust the crappy pillar repair sections if that interests you?

I'm pretty sure they are different in early and late models. How many screws do yours have?Mine have 4.
I have seen later ones that only have 3 but I'm not sure what year they changed.
