Brake Booster for 69 Micro

Hi,

Looking to put front discs on my 69 and was thinking about a remote brake booster VH44 from a 60's Valiant and similar cars of the era.

Anyone have other ideas, keeping the stock beam.

Also brake proportioing valve advice/assistance would be good too!

Cheers,

David

No, the later beam has different bolt spacing to the '68-'69. The chassis and pedal setup is also different which does not allow the booster/master cylinder to line up.

David,
You can fit the later stub axles to get the disc brakes. Change the rear also to fit the later wheels. I have done this to my '68 and it works well. I did not fit the proportioning valve.

I have seen those inline boosters on the hotrods, can not see why it would not work.
