Help please. Can anyone identify these hinges?
Hi Everyone,
Can anyone identify these hinges? Vintage would be late 1970's or early 1980's. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much,
Dino.

Probaley the boot hinges but , as they have a short bottom end like your picture above .
I woulkd suspect if they are mini boot hinges that you will be haing trouble with them if they are not mouted on a curved surface the same as the rear
of a mini ie: the pivot pin isn't square to the mounting faces

Its handy having half a mini in your bedroom
They are similar but not the same as these hinges, unless they change with different year models.

Thanks Guys,
Mini is closest I can find but not quite there. I'm just not happy with the condition these ones are in, but I'll restore them and see what
happens.
Thanks for all Advice and suggestions.
Dino.

seeing they are painted
You could get them chromed...
the pins look like roll pins..
inexpensive and easy to replace...

Thanks Guys,
Here is the story. These are the hinges from the trunk and engine hood from my Condor Project:

They are painted in the picture above but they came in a chrome finish and were very pitted. I do not think they are re-chromable becuase of their
condition. My brother. a spray painter, thinks they will be okay painted.
So, I thought if I could identify what hinges they actually were, I could source some new ones and get the best finish. Unfortunately, we haven't
quite found them yet.
Lee, you mentioned "rolled pins". These hinges have a tube with the ends burred over to hold in place (which I destoyed drilling out). Is that the
same thing? If so, I'll know what to ask for when I get the pins redone.
Thanks everyone for advice.
Dino.
