Drop spindles a question
Will someone please let me know what is meant by a 'drop spindle'.
I know what they look like and why they exist.
What I want to know is, does a drop spindle raise or lower the front end?
Also are they legal in all states?
If they raise the front, are they a good idea on a Baja? If so, why, if not, why not.

I know this much... "drop spindles" will lower the front of your car. I doubt it will benefit and Baja Bug

It's a bit confusing as a "drop" or "dropped" spindle will lower the front. To do this the centre point of the spindle is moved to a point
higher than stock.
They are called drop spindles because they will drop your car lower, not because the spindle is moved lower(because it isn't).
When the spindle is actually moved lower than stock, the effect will be to raise the car and they are referred to as "raised
spindles".

thing 181 spindles lift the front and are completely legal.
