a 73 what year is on the plate i am very interested as my documents say that only 72 had the lowlite front and the highlite rear if it is a 73 dam

that makes mine rather common i was told that a 72 was like chicken teeth to find because of the front and the back being from early bays with the
later rears and because they were used for the upgrade of splits
man thats a keeper makes splits look like bum holes .every one has them

yep i'm with you prices are only going up and i don't think that will change 5-6 years from now the price of any kombi will be high.given that
split's are only for the wallet endowed and that will make all others pricey

n for the tyre kickers out there in dream land hello reality check.. 
these things well they dont make any anymore so deal with reality and part with the foldage or keep lookin about
n before you know you'll be a grey nomad with no vw wheels to play with..
so gone are the days of these things worth zip
btw racing strips would be beeter too me thinks.. haha
