If you ever lose motivation for your build have a look at what i have to deal with "eventually" 
If the pic doesnt show the extent of my problems, there is two of almost everywire running into the immobiliser (which i have not yet found a home
for) 
Ten wires merged onto the one fuse at one point

you want spagetti junction then check my bug 
makes yours look tidy as 
 
by the time i crammed the wiring for alarm, central locking, power windows, 5 extra guages, MP3 head, 2 amps and an ipod interface theres one big arse
jumble of wires tucked up under my dash 
 
and i still have subaru wiring to add to it

my wiring looks easily as messy as yours! 
central locking, alarm, power windows, amp etc, same as joel essentially, but along with a total of 3 horns (original, new and air horn)

i think i can beat that cept mines on a whole other level i inherrited a 1971 sbug i belive and ive fallen in love with it but atm due to lack of
funds in living in adelaide no one seems to know of any good vw part suppliers or mechanics but any way upon inspection my wirring looks kinda ok then
you see that sitting on a shed for nearly 20 years with windows dwn youll notice mice made homes in my speakers and in my wirring what they didnt eat
they shreded into pieces ugh what i night mare so when cleaning came time i wasnt surprised to find a skelleton or two ugh gross frustrated now to
conivnce my bfs av tec mates to re wire it for me and design a setup for a cd player with taking out the orginal stereo and putting wholes in my
almost mint interior saved due to covers mmm any one got ideas

in reality you need maybe 6 wires to drive it   but if you want headlights,
indicators etc add a few more :P

All this makes me feel better regarding my wiring. I am always  trying to identify what wire is what and they were painted when last person painted
car. Also I have added 3 gauges, alarm, air horns, dvd player, amp, sub and 6x9s with 4 more speakers to fit as well as central locking, 4 driving
lights, interior lights. It's a very colourful display of spahetti.
