Some one is batting for the other side - $10k Challenge
Was at Richards today and there was a yellow beetle there.
It is part of the Motor Magazing $10k challenge
4 cars
Wolwo 242 GT
Mazduh RX7
Fulcun RU6
and a MIGHTY 74L bug!
Basically you have $10k to buy and improve the car
Not the fastest but the most improved.
Anyway - raced out and bought the mag and the beetle is "the Westies" team
Anyway.... SOMEONE here (i will let themself out them self) is batting for the Wolwo!!
HOW COULD YOU!!!

Seriously - should be a dam interesting competition
Futue te ipsum!!!

You will need to wait for the magazine, but I heard the VW did very well; of course.

... the Beetle has Hoodjax
I really wanted a standard Volvo wagon - because they are slower and have more crapola suspension - but got provided with a GT model instead
But that was the least of my worries!

Don`t know if i`ve been con(ned)verted but recently picked up this 850.

FWD (front wheel drive) `93,non turboed but can be chipped quite easily i`m told. Keep trying to hear the sound of the motor (ala dak dak) but just so
damn quiet i can hear the radio now! cheers

sour grapes me thinks?
I guess it wasn't all that fair with Richard building the motor for you. Just goes to show how good Lbug potential is in standard form. They really
are the best bug VW ever made motorsport wise.
