[FS - QLD] '79 VW Golf GLD for sale
G'day all.
Call me Aidan. I have a 79 VW Golf GLD for sale in Algester, Brisbane.
Silver, hardtop, 5-door hatch, 4cyl 1.6 diesel.
Sell for $400 ono.
Engine and gearbox in fairly good condition, would suit project or use for parts. Body lets the car down & is in poor condition. Mark II Golf
radiator.
Will only sell as whole car. Sell unregistered. Last registered in Vic. Never say die attitude and has served me very well. Sad to see her go.
Excellent economy, regularly started.
Chassis and Engine # available but I don't have them with me at this point in time.
Problems are:
Brakes stiff and no real power
Odometer stopped
Warning lamps not working
1 leaking injector
Rust below rear window and a little elsewhere
Slight water leak in hatch
Electrical connections need replacing throughout
Star in windscreen
1 headlight and 1 taillight not working
Rear left door outer latch not working
Driver quarter window unattached
Possible small leak in coolant system
Windscreen washer reservoir leaking
Glove box latch broken
Rear seat only attached on one side
