crappy vid of my notch on first turbo run
As the title says...
This was taken with a crappy nikon still camera.
Anyhow I hope u enjoy it!
Nothing like a spin round the block in a half finished car :-)

Edit: It is so noisy due to having no rear glass, no engine decklid and no bootlid...my ears are still ringing!

Cheers mate!
It is literally half done, but driving it after many years was certainly an inspiration to finish it!!
The tune is still rough and there is heaps to do on the rest of the car. I doubt I'll ever finish it properly but that is the nature of a project car
isn't it?
Not a huge fan of the blow off valve noise...I will rig up a plumb back system before I try to rego it. It's good that it all fits under the decklid
to keep the stock appearance.
Having said that I do love the "bootful of engine" look that type3king has in his beast.
Long live type 3's!!

This pic is the most complete one I have right now:
Still need to mount coil pack and wideband controller and tidy the wiring loom...might do that today :-)
The turbo is a baby one...toyota ct-12 which i think is from a starlet import. Good for about 100kw. Intercooling is a 200sx air/air. Picked em up
real cheap just to play with.
Hoping for gobs of low and midrange torque as the car will be driven on the street. Don't really care about top end or power output figures right
now.
A better choice would be a garrett t25 from what I've been reading, or if u have the $ go for a gt2560r ball bearing...noice!!
