Hey everyone. What is the big cylinder hanging off the window. I have seen these alot but dont know what there are. My wife thought it was some sort
of jet to make the kombi go faster....ha ha ha ha

they work great in areas of dry heat/low humidity......like alice springs 
take one up north though and its like being slapped in the face with a wet rag
its like evaporate coolers for houses
over in SA where most of my family is, where the average annual rainfall is 9" every house has a ducted swampy on the roof cos they work as well as
a/c without the running costs
the ones installed over here though do absolutely nothing
