Fuel vent system

Has some one got a picture of .... say a 74L or 72ish SB fuel tank vent system

I have taken off the charcoal canister and shroud and put a standard shroud on and the stoopid thing on the air box is cracked and stinky

Thanks

you can probably get rid of that plastic breather thingy on the air box

dunno why they went back to it, they were on 71-72 Sbugs, stopped for 73-74 Lbugs then started again for 75L
go figure

my 73s and 74 have been fine without them, no smells etc

Guess i can look on Sunday but how is that

At the moment i have taken the plastic thing out

Right hand Side pipe from main breather i have joined to one from the left hand side that comes from the top left of the tank

The other RHS one is the one that went to the canister.
I have pissed that off

The other one from the LHS came from a 2nd take off at the top left of the tank

i have blocked that off.

Pretty sure most other L bug tanks only have one take off from the top left??

Barry, all that 73-74Lbugs have are the main filler neck hose and that smaller one off the filler to the top corner of the tank has a plastic tee in it
that hose just goes down under the car as a breather
