what year is my baja


hi guys n gals i have bouhgt a baja of ebay
its a 1500 single port disc brake front swing axle rear 12volt
any ideas on its year thanks rod

chassis no 1103079601

3rd figure 5 6 7 8 9 0 1 2 3 4

ETC... From 1970 there is a fourth digit of a 2 (rarely a 3)
to avoid earlier numbers being duplicated.
Model Year 65 66 67 68 69 70 71 72 73 74

so its a 1970...

it was made between 1st August 1969 and 31st July 1970
which makes it a 1970 VW model.

original engine number was between H1124699 to H1350000 1500

hey rod, if you want to post some pics, just click new post and then add an attachment at the bottom... when u click browse u can select the pic from your computer that u wish to post... i think most vee dubbers will agree that there is no such thing as seeing too many different dubs.... no matter how they look, always interesting to see other ppls ideas :dork:
