anyone know the PSI figure off hand for a compression test on a subaru EJ20T??

healthy number?

I think I was getting about 10-10.5bar, so about 150-160psi?

Damo , 165 psi would be what I would expecting . I have seen 190 psi on newer motors

165 is very healthy. Must be a late 90's engine at that. The old clanger RS turbo engines only have about 135psi. As long as they are even and above 130ish it is fine. When EJ20T's lose compression they do it in a big way as ring lands break or pistons melt. The engines don't really wear out, they will do 500k kms without wearing the crosshatching off if they don't get cooked to death in the mean time(this is what normally happens).
