I think Wally is running from Tomorrow.
Troy Alder is heading out there with him tomorrow morning(Thursday).
I heard Wally was going to get his fuel system sorted out before the event,
so it should run pretty good.

yeah the fuel system is sorted out, he put fuel in the tank but hasnt started the thing yet, lets hope theres no crusty methanol sitting in the
injectors. First run will be about 5 oclock tomorrow arvo then we will run again sometime friday but not sure when. Car is entered in super sedan
class for this event, wally wanted to run super gas but hasnt had the fuel system flowed as yet, so until that happens we will run with 100 other cars
instead of a field of i think 18 in super gas. Anyway if anyone is coming up over the weekend drop past the pits and see us....Troy

I heard a report from the track...Secret Agent Troy
said the only qualifyer on Thursday arvo was aborted when it ran out of fuel after the burnout.
Who's job was it to check that Troy!?
Today (Friday) he ran an 11.8 at 112 running lean for some reason after 5000.
They have one more qualifier left to try and run quicker than 10.99 to make the field.
I will keep an eye on the Willowbank site for any news.

Was there yesterday with the guys.
Think the problem that caused the 11.86 run is now sorted, but didn't get to see as the storm that came across cost a few hours racing. Schedule has
been changed around, so now Wally's final qualifier isn't until 17:00 Saturday... with 1st round of racing sometime Saturday night.
On another note, got to see some passes of Top Fuel dragsters for my first ever time... holy crap they're impressive !!! Pete's right about the
doorslammer guys - getting pretty serious for qualifying...

the fuek system on the car needs some attention i think, the pump is 15 years old and was second hand before wally had it and it has neer been looked
at and since the turbo up grade and engine size increase, the fuel system hasnt been changed and the car hasnt run right for a while. We spoke with
allan farrell at the track and he said he would be able to get it sorted so we pulled the entire fuel system off the car and left it with him to take
home and flow and sort it out. Hopefully this will sort the issues. Wally also has made mention about getting new intake manifolds made up as well.
This car should have run into the 9 sec region a whie ago so hopefully with these changes the car can start to make some progress....Troy
