went to a hotrod show in brissie a few years ago and there was a beetle there with a short block v8 shoved in the front, it looked mightily impressive

I remember seeing that car in one of my back issues of VolksWorld..It was a small pic from one of the car shows in the UK.
Looks like a well done conversion
