Had a look today, couldn't stick around long but saw orange bug run, which i'm sure it won the class as greg crashed on saturday, and I'm not sure how stan went but it's the first i've heard his new motor with the charger and man it is good!

Congratulations Christine on a job well done.. It just shows that you don't need balls and a dick to drive a race car quick. Although some would argue with that one! There should be more chick drivers out there sticking it to us blocks and its obvious now blonds really do have more fun..

i doubt that Gregs presence would have ment GARFIELD wouldn't carry someone to the win.....however yes i'm sure he'll work himself back up to being on the winners podium over time ........but any ways,

Is Greg alright?

how bad was the crash and where abouts on the track?

is the car OK?

You never know what someone would have produced on the day.......according to local U2L compeditor Christine's run is the quickest Improved Production U2 Litre run ever:no:......Greg would have needed to be at his best

Greg is fine....as expected he's disappointed to have damaged the car........my understanding is Greg got very sideways coming out of the gocart section got the rear bumper caught on the tire wall, that flicked the car through the dip between sections of track.....some report seeing the car 700mm or so off the ground.....the car has front and rear suspension damage.

When your having a bad day it normally only gets worse....the next run Greg had engine problems..... he hopes is only broken pushrods......the beetle made a few ugly noises, lost some oil but by all counts will with some spanner work will live to fight another day

Congradulations Christeen,

is this the first time a lady has one a state round ??
:yes::lol:

I am sure it won't be the last, i wonder how many of the blokes will be lining up to race her now at the last few state rounds

Looks like the fastest cars won't win the series again because they have only run a few rounds, unlike Greg who is not the Quickest but competes at every round.
shame really it would be good to see a Lady win the series
:yes:

Congratulations Christine! My partner recently beat me at a sprint, it was her first time out too. It's great to have female drivers in motor sport (at all levels), those of you who compete certainly seem to be extremely natural at it.
All the best for your next round.
