lithium grease for a distrubutor
this is probably in the wrong forum but i'm in a hurry so put it where the most traffic is. please feel free do delete it tonight. (please after i
have gotten an answer )
i'm rebuilding a distributor and can't get the proper Bosch distributor grease. is lithium grease the right stuff to use instead?
btw does anyone know where i can get new fibre washers and shims for the shaft as bosch discontinued the spares kits a few years ago. i have scrounged
up enough for this distrubutor (for a friend) but need more for my own distributors.
thanks
henry.

Hi,
http://www.nlaparts.com have the grease. Fairly sure Bergs do as well.
I might try (just for giggles) a local specialist carb/distributor rebuilder for the grease.
The kit? http://www.bughaus.com have the kit.
I've bought both items from the states myself.
Enjoy
