 Fittipaldi twin-engined Beetle

This is an interesting vehicle; Emerson Fittpaldi's '67 Beetle, with two 1600 engines, with Okrasa kits, Porsche g'box, for a total of 4.4
litres.

Lots of info at this site
 http://www.obvio.ind.br/O%20VW%20Fusca-Fittipaldi%20de%20dois%20motores.htm
but in Portuguese.

Looks cool, but that isn't the twin engine car.

4.4 liters mid mounted in a Beetle though... how much fun would that be !!!

A friend of mine has got a flat 8.It's two 1500's bolted together with a single crank.
Weirdest engine I've ever seen.I'll see if I can get a pic of it.
