[FS - NSW] VW 1956 Oval (Restoring)
Please help ... Have no time, running out of space and the wife’s unhappy ... The Oval’s gotta go!
For Sale – 1956 Oval in many pieces but all there. The body, pan and motor are all separate, plenty of work has been completed so far including:
• Body has been bead blasted and is rust free apart from a little bit of surface rust. 90% of the holes have been patched. A few more hours and then
you can paint.
• Pan – Has been stripped and rebuilt, painted with POR-15 ready to bolt back on to the body.
• Motor has had one head refurbished.
Just add a few more hours of elbow grease, rubbers, paint and a headliner and you’ll have the latest VW Oval on the road!
An easy project to complete ... But mind you I said that when I started!!
Looking to get $3500.00
In addition:
There is but a spoonful of bog in it, all the rust has been cut out and oxywelded in new steel.
The interior is only the door skins from memory, no headliner or tatty at that.
I am located in Epping NSW.
I'll put some more photos up shortly.
If you think you can help call Lex on 0418 402 201 or email: strex@bigpond.net.au
