been lurking the halls of aussie vw
its about time i contributed
the build so far

disks up front
type3 rear brakes not fitted yet
"does anybody know what i have to
change as i have type3 irs rear
brakes and want to put them on a
swinger looks like the bearing retainers are
different"

stock 1500 box at the mo
urathane mounts front and rear and spring plate
trans strap front and mid
type 4 2lt wth dtm
cbb gold 2lt heads
2lt crank balanced to 210 flywheel and pres plate
rods ballanced
cbb stage 1 cam
flywheel lightened 1.1kg
just started the cancer surgery a pillars got the chop
rear valance gone for removable
the list goes on and on
hope to make Warick so ill have to pull the finger out
thanks to all the posters for all the info its been a learning curve
ps
running a 1600 junkyard motor on the chassis for now, new rings new bearings ,high rev valve springs, just waiting for the supercharger to turn up
