Newbie....


Hi all,
Newbie here......just about finished restoring a '71 bug.....final bits & pieces going in now.

Upgraded from 1300cc AB to 1600cc AS engine & gearbox.

Project took me exactly 12 months.

Very nice Duke surprised you never joined earlier could have got lots of help. Malasia and Thailand all seem to have superb looking machines. Did you do all the work yrself?

Nah, I project managed the restoration. I only restored the internals myself....window regulators, dash, chrome bits, etc. Thankfully my panel beater, painter & wireman were all decent chaps

But still it meant most Saturdays last 12 months were spent on Duke.....sometimes hunting down parts
