Cold As
Well I'll find out about cold tomorrow, taking the buggy up to chilly old Scone for a spin, leaving early in the morning and providing it gets me
there ok I'm heading off into the hills up to Upper Rouchel. Wish me luck and if you see me give me a wave and shout me a hot chockie.

Well I got there and back ok, not as cold as I was expecting though once I got to Muswellbrook it got just a wee bit nipply and then more so as I
headed into the hills, good cruise home but as the sun went down the temp started to drop again. Most amazing thing is the old buggy got me there and
back without so much as a hickup, I think I love it again.
Bugger shit and bum, I stoped typing to go and check how many k's i did (about 370 for those who have been on the edge of the seat waiting) and
thought I'd check what apeared to be a puddle of water on the garage floor, I noticed it as I drove in, bloody great pool of brake fluid, that
explains why the brake peddle was a bit down, I thought it was just that they needed adjusting, damn.

I though that the archaic units might be a clue...

Google Maps gives me a route to Darwin, then the instruction "Kayak across the Pacific Ocean." to Japan. After that it gets silly.

Hey Donn, I was driving around town last week with the lid off on old red. Wasn't too bad at 6am. I reckon this year is no where near as cold as last
year. Would have kept the lid off to had it not been for the rain on Tuesday morning. I looked outside, looked fine so off I ventured. Got to
Birmingham Gardens and down it came. I didn't get wet unless i stopped so I didn't stop. My work shirt was on the passengers seat and was still dry
when I arrived in the basement at work. I think I just got lucky. Drove to Gerroa today (in the Monaro) and noticed that it isn't that cold down here
either. Maybe I am changing. Getting old and getting hot...haha

Yeah Red, took the buggy up to Dondingalong (yes there is such a place) near Kempsy once, rained all the way and the blokes I was meeting up there
were laughing fit to fall over as I arrived, they couldn't believe it when they found out that I and my camping gear was dry as, though the only
place I stopped was under an awning at a servo.

You guys must just get numb when you get older or sillier not to feel the cold.
I bet it will be cold at Gunnedah this week end when we go up there I had a look on the net and it said it will get down to 0 dec over night on Fri
night I will feel it as I'm skinny and don't have any extra padding to keep me warm
Hey Red why don't you bring the monaro up to Gunnedah Drags on the week end?

Just got back from taking my 8-year old daughter skiing (at Smiggins) for the first time. We parked the VW Golf at the Ski Tube terminal at Bullocks
Flat, where it sat for 3 days. It got to -3 overnight on Saturday but didn't snow that far down. It did snow at Smiggins and the wind chill was -10
at the top of Blue Cow.
The Golf started first time when we got back to it on Sunday - not surprisingly. And it was beautiful to drive back to Sydney that evening in air-con
comfort. Glad I didn't take the Kombi.

Would love to Rose but really what is there to prove??
Its big, its black and it throbs, thrusts and growls when its going hard..lol.
Couldn't help myself with that.
Nah the middle boy has 3 shifts over the weekend at KFC and he needs the money for his driving lessons and he wants to get his first car as well.
Family first I am afraid.
