white carpet help please
i have been trying to find stark white carpet to fit into my beetle. can any one help me find where i can buy some. it seems to be very hard to find.
I can understand why.

I reckon the closest you'll get is marine carpet but there'll be a tinge of another colour for obvious reasons. No-one does pure white automotive
for the same reasons. Happy to send you pics if you like.

it really needs to be pure white. the guy who did the rest of the trimming said that he found some years ago for a plane but cant find any now.
thanks. i have even been thinking of other product i can use.

If you have an old set to use as a template maybe try a few carpet stores, they may know of somthing suitable. Buy what you need off the roll cut it
out and take it to a trimmer to get the edging sewn in.
I did it with black marine carpet this time but I did the sewing myself. Next time I recon I will go to a carpet place and get some really nice plush
stuff.

i have thought about felt and velour even like wool blanketing but i was wondering how they go and wear. i was worried about it looking like crap and
going bobbly and pilling. i suppose it is just the matter of trying a piece.

Being a trimmer as well I have never seen pure white automotive or marine carpet. I wish you luck I cannot think of any other suitable product.
If it's not in a Vee Dub I'm not going!
