I more said it cause Dave couldn't find anyone else to do it.

Just remember when you are makin it all pretty with sheet metal that you can still service the motor , Eg get the spark plugs out, timing belt cover off and are able to get to water hoses etc,

yep, sussing all that out already :P this is the rough copy anyway, only drama will be is plugs really but the solution is a uni joint away :)

idea being if its narrower than the cam belt cover +an extra inch or so of clearance its a bolt on bit, though my rear apron will be fun to fit!

look's like you have bucket loads of room.
mikey's was easy to work on .the hardest bit was puting the engine in and out because everything had to come of first.cooler.pipes etc, etc.
r u cutting into the back shelf area to put everything in there, cooler and all that jazz.
i have found over the years that you get real tired real quick of leaning in and around seat's to put shit together.but each to there own.

look's like it should turn out relativily butcherless,:D:yes:that's my way off saying look's good so far dude.keep up the relentless effort and hard work, and don't forget the pic's.

Q: what do you do with a girl thats telling you forget the house deposit, worry about that later, just have fun with your car & get it finished?

A: email alot of people about all the stuff you have found for sale lately but stopped yourself buying cos not having anything fun to do on it is boring!!!!!!!

(im predicting another burst of work now)

oh DB is there any other pics of my gearbox bits that arent on here i could get off you?

awaiting on an order from topline, vdubengineering, ebay people, need to find my brake hoses so i can get braided ones made up to suit, make the brackets for SOLID mounts just so its bolted together, cut the shift rod to suit since its in a totally different location now, change the stubs to 930, hoping my output flanges show up early next week, lotsa public holidays to fill soon....

Hi Dave,

I'm planning to get a heated rear window for my 1303, shipping from the UK might be cheaper with two, but then we have to get it from Brisbane to Sydney or vice versa.

Cheers

for the small fortune you would pay for a heated back window is it worth the cost for how often you would need it?

all of my mainstream cars have had them and i would be lucky to use once or twice a year
