hello and HELP! =]
Hi everybody! I'm new to the road (red P Plate new) and new to the forum. My old man owns a Kombi and i have been active on their forum every now and
then, but i think it's time i spread my wings and said hello to the entire VW community! I have just purchased my first car (on the 21st), naturally
a VW. It's a cute little red cabriolet golf 1997. I picked it up for what I thought (still think?) is a bargain, $3500. I have just come back from
the mechanic who has quoted me $1400 in repairs! I was expecting it, but it still sucks to be hit with such a sum. I was wondering if there is anyone
in Sydney who can refer me to a good (and cheap!) auto-electrician who can fix my roof? I've seen it go down only three times before it gave in! I
can hear the hydraulics working in the back there, but nothing is moving, so fingers crossed it's just one wire that has come out of place.
I'm after any thoughts or advice i can get, so please don't hesitate to give me your two cents!
