You can all relax now. I'm finally here : )

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I thought I'd say hi and let you know I am a bit of a car nut, well, just a nut in general, so I hope to chat to lots of you in the future. I haven't actually taken posession of a VW yet, but have a '70 bug with my name on it that I need to pick up. I'll post pics when I do.
This brings me to my next dilemma. Has anyone in Oz been able to get approval for a 10 inch beam extension or an I-beam conversion? My mod plate guy has no dramas with me doing so as long as the kit has ADR approval. I wish. Anyone? Ideas?
Well, failing that there's always early 60's guards and decklid conversion and some suicide doors.
Tata.

Hi modulus, thanks for the welcome. Glad you picked up on the mod plate gag. It's true though, if there was an ADR approved kit, he'd pass it. I wonder if there's a matching ADR approved blown big block chev kit for my '70 beetle? Anyway, this site seems great and I look forward to spending some more time here with you all. Remember, not everyone can be as wonderful as me, but it can't hurt to try : )

Yes, I am an idiot.....WEEEEEEEEEEEEE : )
