All AVD members welcome to read this
Hugs and good vibes to all. Air cooled, stock, modified, hot, Suby powered, rat, weirdly coloured, whatever.
AVD members you are all asked what to make this place better. Simple answer. YOU
I put to all members to have a look around, and see if you can make 10 positive, encouraging, helpful posts over the next couple of days.
Take that half an hour to post a few pictures and write a few lines about whatever you have been doing or are going to do to your car. Don't feel it
is not worth reading, it is worth posting, just do it.
You are all just such fantastic people, and I am so happy to be part of your community.

The feel good thread? I really like this idea. I think everyone can do whatever they like with their car, and its nice to know that there are other
people that are on this forum willing to help its really great. In the end, its just a lump of metal (please don't get me wrong, I love my car alot
) and not worth getting into fights about. I' really thankful for all
the help and advice I've gotten from other members on AVD. It's tops.
So is this the feel good/what I'm doing/ Brief description on my car - thread??

Lately I've been doing a lot of roller skating. 4 weeks ago a new rink opened here in the gong. There hasnt been one here for a looong time. Glad I
kept those old skates kicking around in the bottom of the wardrobe for so many years. Been awesome, I used to love skating as a teenager (before
turning 18 and discovering pubs n clubs). Probably the #2 pick up joint after blue light discos My daughter is very keen as well. She's been 6 times in 4 weeks. It's extremely popular, every friday and saturday
session has been sold out, as well as many of the kids sessions during school holidays. An amazing retro experience. I just have to get those new
fangled inline skates banned and it will be perfect

hey, this wasnt supposed to be a thread about outing people!
There was a teenage (14, 15ish) birthday party there last week. They were all dressed up 80's style with flouro and leg warmers, crimped hair. Bloody
kids wouldnt have even been thought of back in the 80's.
Apparently there's a group that runs skate sessions on some basketball courts in Narellan. I'll let you know pod, so you can go all retro too. Does
anyone know where I can get a hypercolour t shirt :P

Mine is now a polishing rag, torn into several pieces. But I still have a Duran Duran LP somewhere.
Donn I hope you meant Olivia (her Lets Get Physical video was sensational!) rather than Olivier - Sir Laurence never did anything for me.
Nothing would make me happier than seeing every basketball court bulldozed and replaced with skating areas, or cricket nets, or anything else really.
