I found this in my travels around the net and i just had to share it ..... dont know about you, but i think its a dam sexy car .... dosn't matter thats its not VW, it still comes out of the Karmen Ghia house, so we will call it a cousin.

Don't forget that the Karmann Ghia was an adapted design that was originally intended for an american car company. Ghia designed them and Karmann built them.

Look up a web search on Ghia Aigle. See some nice old stuff there. I am lucky enough to be currently working on a Ghia Aigle Ferrari 195.

Ghia was an independent design company, like Bertone or Pininfarina. This car was just another of their designs, based on a Cadillac. Nothing whatever to do with 'Karmen' (you mean Karmann), and nothing to do with VW. Ghia is now 100% owned by Ford.

Yes it does look like the FAB-1 (the REAL one, not that Ford Thunderbird-based piece of crap from the live-action film).
