Rear wheel alignment.. Falcadore
I was in desperate need for a pair of tyres for my falcon, and I did what I tell everyone else not to do. I got the tyre shop to do a 4 wheel
alignment. Of course, it has screwed up the handling of the car. The back end feels like something is loose. At high speeds the rear end rocks from
side to side, especially if the road is uneven.
I took it back, they played with it, but its still forked. I've been under the car and cant find anything loose.
The figures before the first alignment for rear toe were:
Before: Left -2.4mm, Right +0.2 Total: -2.1 (I had a little off road excursion that probably knocked the LHS out)
After: Left +0.5 left, Right +1.2, Total: +1.6
When I took it back the readoout says
Before: Left +1.3mm, Right +0.7, Total +2.0
After: Left +1.0 left, Right +1.1, Total +2.1
The falcon manual says 0.24 degress +- 0.1. So where the hell should my alignment be in mm to get to 0.24 degrees? (16" wheels)

Not sure wether that is .24 degrees per side or both,
but at, say, 250mm from the wheel centre(tyre side wall),
or 500mm from front to rear of the tyres' side walls,
using TAN or SIN for .24 degrees is around 2.2mm,
so if each tyre has to be .24 degrees, then included angle of .48 degrees would be 4.4mm.
Get under there with a helper and a tape measure and see if it is in there somewhere.
