944 alloy rear arms

Has anyone ever fitted 944 alloy arms to Type 1 IRS using part of 924 adjustable 2 piece spring plate and swing axle spring plate shortened with holes as necessary using 924 spring plate as template. The swing axle spring plate will fit the alloy arm and by machining three holes and shortening swing axle spring plate using 924 as template. The swing axle spring plate is wider than IRS .
Will put photo later

Hi

Ive fitted both steel and alloy 944 arms to bugs, I'm just not getting the gist of your question, can you explain a little bit more?

Steve
