L Bug ready for debut run tomorrow!

It's a starter for Marulan tomorrow. Still have aero work and tuning etc. to do, but the L will be there!

Cheers, Greg

Hi Greg

We want photos. If you have a problem loading them send them to me info@clubvw.org.au and I will make them small enough to load.

What time are you getting there?

May the struts be with you, Steve

Starts about 9AM. I'll be there a bit earlier to unload car etc. May take you up on the 'photo offer - it's a bit much for an old codger!!!

Cheers, Greg

cool and yes pics are even better.......

YOU CAN post them easily enough..........

download the image resizer here....

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/learnmore/tips/es...

..then it's just a matter of a right click and selecting resize image from the drop down menu that appears, click on the desired size and they will appear in the same folder as a smaller copy of the original

from there there just select the resized image after you click on the "add attachment" from the bottom of the screen used to post a topic or reply.

Well, the debut track day for the L was a success! apart from a bit of smoke early in the day - mostly from residual oil in the exhaust system - went very well. The car showed a lot of potential, and with some tuning on the engine and suspension, should be a real weapon! It' a lot of fun to drive - if you don't believe me, ask Steve Muller.

Cheers, Greg

P.S Please don't hassle me for photos - I didn't take any.

Crikey hewpt, you don't want much eh? Maybe it would be easier do the photo thing! How about this for starters:-
Bought the car with 2.3 water-cooled Kombi engine, turbo, dry sump, MoTeC ECU, C/R Kombi G.box & ZF diff, 944 trailing arms & struts, 944 discs, roll cage etc. Have fitted 16x7 front wheels, 17x8.5 rear, Michelin slicks, and set up suspension for track use.
That will have to do for now - I'm getting tired.

Cheers, Greg
