If you want value for money Paul, I dont think you can go past the Toyo 888, I think they are the best value for money (or atleast where when I last
bought tyres). I have always been a fan of the dunlop formula r but I couldnt justify the extra $70 ea to buy them when I last bought my tyres. If you
are going to be doing your circuits and multi lapers (20 lap features) then stick with the yokies.

Tyres
Hi All,
I had a professional racer test the tyres back to back at Oran Park and Eastern Creek, lap for lap and heat cycle for heat cycle as well as tyre
wear.
The Dunlop DZ03G has been the tyre to beat for a while.
The ADVAN A050 is a very, very similar tyre in most respects. It can achieve the same lap times but with 2 advantages. The performance drop off is
less after additional heat cycles and they're a little cheaper. So the supersprinter who wants to get a year's racing out of his R-specs is likely
to be faster at the end of the year and have a slightly fatter wallet too.
The compounds aren't like for like. The A050 M is more like the Dunlop H1. and The A050 S is more like the Dunlop M.
If you're a hillclimber get as soft as you can becaues the tyres never get a chance to get up to operating temp. So Dunlop's Super Soft would be the
go.
I love the A050. But I'm biased.
I hope that helps. CT
